Many people believed that this piece of crap would never work. George watched GalaxyQuest a few too many times and really got "Never give up, never surrender" stuck in his head. After three weeks of failure with the spindle motor he gave up and threw it at a chair. The motor needed to be rewound. The only people who rewind motors charge mucho money.
